Does Vitamin K Help With Dark Circles?

Individuals might experience dark circles under their eyes several times within their lifetime. A few common causes for these circles might be:

-Sleeplessness

-Dehydration

-Allergies

Another cause of dark circles is aging. As individuals age some experience thinning of the skin beneath their eyes which causes some swelling or sunken skin under the eyes and dark circles. Vitamin K helps keep circulation going and the process of blood clotting. Vitamin K supplements also reduce the appearance of these circles. It helps reduce skin discolorations over all. The recommended dosage is 80kg for adult males and 65k for adult females.

It is also recommended to use a lotion or cream with vitamin K in it to help externally reduce the dark circles. Applying it nightly by lightly and gently rubbing it into the skin and under the eyes will help strengthen the capillary walls and reduce blood vessel visibility. Results will not be immediate. It will take time to repair the damage and reduce the dark circles.
